However, the Emerald Tablet and its long history of influence might still prove useful if future generations of thinkers manage to correctly interpret its tabltes and discover its alleged hidden meaning.
How marvelous is its work! Hermes Trismegistus, the alleged founder of alchemy and hermeticism, was reportedly an Egyptian mystic who lived long before the age of Moses.
hfrmes In the ancient times, Trismegistus allegedly used stone and various precious stones to construct a massive emerald-green monolith on which he inscribed the truths of life and the world which he learned through tablet experiments and contemplation.
If you read the first two chapters you’ve read the whole book. Separate the earth from the fire and you shall adhere more to that which is subtle than that which is coarse, through care and wisdom.

Many manuscripts of this copy of the Emerald Tablet and the commentary of Trosmegistus survive, dating at least as far back as the fifteenth century. The original tablet is short having a few verses.
